Carl Daniels
Carl Bryant Daniels (born August 26, 1970 in St. Louis, Missouri), is an American professional boxer in the Light Middleweight (154 lb) division. He held the WBA Light Middleweight title in 1995. Amateur career Southpaw Daniels won the junior world championships 1987 and the Golden Gloves at flyweight. He was a US feather champ in 1988 and beat Kevin Kelley in the Olympic trials. His record: 170-7. Professional career Daniels, nicknamed "The Squirrel", turned pro in 1988 and in 1992 landed a shot at the WBC Light Middleweight Title against Terry Norris. Norris won via TKO. In 1995, he fought Julio César Green for the Vacant WBA Light Middleweight Title and won a decision. In his first defense, he lost the title to Julio César Vásquez via 11th round TKO. Daniels was leading on the scorecards until the knockout happened; it ranked as Ring Magazine's Knockout Of The Year. Andy Lee (born 11 June 1984) is an Irish former professional boxer who competed from 2006 to 2017. He held the WBO middleweight title from 2014 to 2015, and in doing so became the first member of the travelling community to win a major world title. Aviator Sports and Events Center is a sports and events center in Floyd Bennett Field, Brooklyn, New York City. Operating as a concessionaire of the National Park Service (NPS), Aviator has refurbished four historic aircraft hangars and the surrounding grounds in partnership with the NPS. The area includes of indoor sports and event space along with adjoining outdoor turf fields and free parking for 2,000 cars. Aviator provides a variety of sports and league play, including basketball, football, gymnastics, ice hockey, ice skating, lacrosse, soccer, and volleyball. Parties, field trips, camps, and birthday celebrations are held at the facility. The NPS and Aviator formed a partnership in 2003, and the facility opened in 2006.
