Carl Christian Jacob Førslev
Carl Christian Jacob Førslev (born 27 January 1891 in Sneslev, Førslev Parish, died between 21 January and 31 March 1959) was a Danish officer, married to Harriet Førslev. He was the son of Jacob Hansen and Louise Schou, the eldest of six siblings. Chief Of The Royal Danish Air Force
The Chief of the Air Command is the topmost authority in the Royal Danish Air Force. It can trace its history back to the creation of the Chief for the Naval Air Service, in 1913. The current chief of the Air Force is Major general Jan Dam. History On 14 December 1911, the Naval Air Service was established. On 25 March 1912, the Royal Danish Navy received its first airplane the ''Kite'', in 1913 the first chief was named. In 1912, the Army Air Corps was established. The first chief was named in 1917. Furesø is a lake in Northeastern Zealand, Denmark and the deepest lake in Denmark. It defined the former Farum municipality's southeasthern border and is the site of Nicolai Eigtved's 18th century small pleasure pavilion for Privy Councillor Johan Sigismund Schulin on the Furesø Lake called Frederiksdal Pavilion. Lieutenant general (Lt Gen, LTG and similar) is a military rank used in many countries. The rank traces its origins to the Middle Ages, where the title of lieutenant general was held by the second-in-command on the battlefield, who was normally subordinate to a captain general. The Royal Danish Air Force () (RDAF) is the aerial warfare force of the Kingdom of Denmark and one of the four branches of the Danish Armed Forces.
