Caranbirini Conservation Reserve
Caranbirini Conservation Reserve is a protected area in the Northern Territory of Australia. It is situated approximately south of Borroloola and south east of Darwin. The reserve can be accessed from the Carpentaria Highway. The reserve contains a large number of habitats within a small area. Sandstone hills and ridges overlook woodlands and riverine vegetation surround a semi-permanent waterhole. Borroloola, Northern Territory
Borroloola ( local Aboriginal languages: ''Burrulula'') is a town in the Northern Territory of Australia. It is located on the McArthur River, about 50 km upstream from the Gulf of Carpentaria. Carpentaria Highway
The Carpentaria Highway is a highway, which runs from near Daly Waters to Borroloola in the Northern Territory, Australia. It is a sealed road and is part of National Highway 1. The Highway takes its name from the Gulf of Carpentaria, which it links with the Stuart Highway.
