Car De Luxe
The Car de Luxe was an American automobile manufactured from 1906 until 1910. A sister marque to the Queen, the Car de Luxe had overhead valves which were operated by one rocker per cylinder. Queen (American Automobile)
The Queen was a Brass Era American automobile manufactured between 1904 and 1907 in Detroit, Michigan. History Carl H. Blomstrom was an engineer who built his first experimental car in 1897 and a second one in 1899. Blomstrom (1902-1903) Blomstrom became a manufacturer in 1902 of a small single-cylinder runabout. By the end of 1903 he had built 25 of these Blomstrom cars that would become the basis for the Queen introduced in 1904. Queen (1904-1907) In 1904 the C.H. Blomstrom Motor Company was established and Blomstrom renamed his car the Queen. The Queen began as a runabout with a one-cylinder engine developing an impressive 8- hp. An axle or axletree is a central shaft for a rotating wheel or gear. On wheeled vehicles, the axle may be fixed to the wheels, rotating with them, or fixed to the vehicle, with the wheels rotating around the axle. An I-beam, also known as H-beam (for universal column, UC), w-beam (for "wide flange"), universal beam (UB), rolled steel joist (RSJ), or double-T (especially in Polish, Bulgarian, Spanish, Italian and German), is a beam with an or -shaped cross-section. The horizontal elements of the are flanges, and the vertical element is the "web". I-beams are usually made of structural steel and are used in construction and civil engineering. A differential is a gear train with three drive shafts that has the property that the rotational speed of one shaft is the average of the speeds of the others, or a fixed multiple of that average.
