Car-napping
''Car-napping'' is a German comedy about international car thieves from 1980 with Bernd Stephan and Anny Duperey. Story On returning from an extended vacation, designer Robert Mehring learns to his complete surprise that the company he used to work for does not exist anymore. The owner of the business, Benninger, has secretly liquidated it and fled abroad with Mehrings drafts. Mehring locates Benninger on the Côte d'Azur and confronts him – without any success. Later Mehring realizes that his Porsche 911 was stolen, including all his papers. The local police chief makes it clear that Mehring can't expect any help from the authorities. A short time later Mehring discovers his car in traffic and confronts the thieves, two Italians named Carlo and Mario, as they want to sell the 911 to a dealer. Ivan Desny
Ivan Desny (born Ivan Nikolaevich Desnitsky; , 28 December 1922 – 13 April 2002) was a French actor of Russian Chinese origin. He had a lengthy career in French and German cinema, appearing in over 200 film and television roles over 50 years, and was a two-time German Film Award winner. Early life Desny was born Ivan Nikolaevich Desnitsky () in Beijing, China. His Russian father, Nikolai Desnitsky, gained French citizenship and worked as a secretary at the French embassy. His mother was Swedish. Career Desny was a film actor. Bilingual in French and German, he acted in more than 150 films, both in Germany and France. Götz Kauffmann (15 January 1949 – 26 January 2010) was an Austrian stage, film and television actor, cabaret artist and writer. Life Gottfried Maria Kauffman was born in the fifteenth district of Vienna. His father was the noted Vienna organ builder, Johann M. Kauffmann (1910-1965). The Kauffmanns had indeed been active in Vienna as organ builders since 1877: between 1964 and 1968 Götz Kauffmann also studied as an apprentice to master the craft. He then decided to pursue a career not as an organ builder but as an actor and cabaret artist. Kauffmann undertook his drama training at Vienna's Max Reinhardt Seminar where he completed the four-year course in 1972. Adolfo Celi (; 27 July 1922 – 19 February 1986) was an Italian film actor and director. Born in Curcuraci, Messina, Sicily, Celi appeared in nearly 100 films, specialising in international villains. Although a prominent actor in Italian cinema and famed for many roles, he is best remembered internationally for his portrayal of Emilio Largo in the 1965 James Bond film '' Thunderball''.
