Captain Scarface
''Captain Scarface'' is a 1953 American thriller film directed by Paul Guilfoyle, and starring Barton MacLane, Virginia Grey, and Leif Erickson. Plot In the waters off South America, the Soviets torpedo the tramp steamer and banana boat SS ''Baños'' and murder the survivors with the cooperation of the ship's radioman, Clegg who escapes with his life and a promise of $5000. The Soviets have mocked up their own ship as the SS ''Baños'' that contains an atomic device with the goal of sailing the ''Baños'' to the locks of the Panama Canal where they will detonate their ship on an atomic suicide mission. To avoid suspicion the new crew of the mocked up ''Baños'' takes the contingent of passengers scheduled to sail on the original ''Baños''. One last minute addition is American expatriate Sam Wilton who has overstayed his welcome as a plantation overseer by making love to the plantation owner's wife. Paul Vincent Guilfoyle () (born April 28, 1949) is an American character actor. He was a regular cast member of the CBS crime drama '' CSI: Crime Scene Investigation'', on which he played Captain Jim Brass from 2000 to 2014. Rudolph Anders
Rudolph Anders (December 17, 1895 – March 27, 1987) was a German character actor who came to the United States after the rise of Hitler, and appeared in numerous American films in the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s. Biography He was born Rudolf Franz Amendt in Waldkirch, Baden, Germany. Shortly following the rise of Hitler in Germany he emigrated to the United States, where he was naturalized an American citizen in 1934. During the 1940s, he used the stage name of Robert O. Davis, and after the War used the name Rudolph Anders. His German-accented English confined him largely to "accent roles", and during World War II to villain parts, although not leading roles as his small build, wide eyes, soft voice and naturally quiet demeanor did not allow him to appear overly menacing. John Mylong
John Mylong (born Adolf Heinrich Münz; September 27, 1892 – September 8, 1975), also known as Jack Mylong-Münz, was an Austrian actor, who later settled in the United States. Biography Mylong was born Adolf Heinrich Münz, to Jewish parents in Velyki Mosty, Lviv Oblast, Ukraine, then governed as part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. He studied acting with Max Reinhardt in Vienna, and began his stage and film acting career in 1921. He appeared in many Austrian and German silent films under the name Jack Mylong-Münz. In 1934, following the annexation of Austria by Nazi Germany, Mylong emigrated to the United States. There, he resumed his acting career, appearing in some 171 film and television roles between then and 1967. He returned to Germany once, in 1951, to appear in the Curt Goetz comedy '' The House in Montevideo.'' Mylong died in Beverly Hills, California in 1975, at the age of 82. Martín Garralaga (10 November 1894 – 12 June 1981) was a Spanish actor who worked in Hollywood from the 1930s through the 1960s. He was married to opera singer and actress Rosa Rey. Biography Garralaga first came to the United States when he sailed from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, to San Juan, Puerto Rico, on the steamship ''Catherine'' in April 1924. He acted in more than two hundred roles in film and television and is probably best known for his portrayal of "Pancho" in the early Cisco Kid films. Don Dillaway
Donald Provost Dillaway (March 17, 1903 – November 18, 1982) was an American stage and film actor. Early years Dillaway's mother, billed as Nettie Gordon, sang in vaudeville. Because she and his father insisted on a professional career for him, he studied law in Buffalo. He disliked that profession so much, however, that he moved to New York. Eventually his parents accepted his preference for entertaining and encouraged him in that career. Career Dillaway had numerous appearances on Broadway. His Broadway debut came in ''The Backslapper'' (1925). In 1927, Dillaway was one of seven actors who were found guilty in New York City of participating in the production of an obscene play, ''The Virgin Man''. They received suspended sentences, and three producers of the play were fined $250 each and sentenced to 10 days in the workhouse. In 1928, Dillaway acted with the Lakewood Players.
