Captain Black (Captain Scarlet)
Captain Black is the fictional nemesis of Captain Scarlet (character), Captain Scarlet and the primary, recurring Mysteron agent in the 1960s British Supermarionation television series ''Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons'' and its 2005 animated remake, ''New Captain Scarlet''. "Black" is a codename; in the original series, the character's real name is never revealed (although in tie-ins he is named as Conrad Turner), while in the remake the character's tombstone indicates that his real name is Conrad Lefkon. The character's transformation from human to Mysteron agent occurs on Mars in the first episode of each series ("The Mysterons" and "Instrument of Destruction, Part 1"). Captain Blue (born Adam Svenson) is a character in the British Supermarionation television series ''Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons'' (1967–68) and its animated remake, ''New Captain Scarlet'' (2005). He is a senior officer in the Spectrum Organisation, which is committed to defending Earth against the Mysterons, he is also the best friend of Captain Scarlet. Origin and design Captain Blue was among the first characters to be conceived by series creator Gerry Anderson who, having determined that " Scarlet" would make for an unusual codename for the series' protagonist, resolved that his mission partner could be codenamed "Blue". Cloudbase
Spectrum Cloudbase, often shortened to Cloudbase, is the fictional airborne headquarters of the international security organisation Spectrum in Gerry Anderson's science fiction television series ''Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons'' (1967–1968). In the 2005 animated remake, Cloudbase is re-imagined as Skybase. In both series, the base's design is that of an airborne aircraft carrier, stationed in either Earth's high troposphere (in the original series) or low stratosphere (in the remake). The Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle (SPV) is a fictional pursuit and attack vehicle from Gerry and Sylvia Anderson's 1960s science fiction television series ''Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons''.
