Cappadocia University
Cappadocia University (CUN) (in Turkish, ''Kapadokya Üniversitesi'' (KÜN) was founded in 2005 by Ilke Education and Welfare Foundation (İlke Eğitim ve Sağlık Vakfı) and has become an important and successful model of vocational higher education in Turkey. The programs of the college were established in accordance with regional development programs as Cappadocia programs, civil aviation programs and health programs. The current University dean is Prof. Dr. Nuran Tezcan, an expert of Turkish literature and Diwan poetry. Nevşehir (; from 'new' and 'city') is a city in the Central Anatolia Region of Turkey. Cappadocia
Cappadocia (; , from ) is a historical region in Central Anatolia region, Turkey. It is largely in the provinces of Nevşehir, Kayseri, Aksaray, Kırşehir, Sivas and Niğde. Today, the touristic Cappadocia Region is located in Nevşehir province. According to Herodotus, in the time of the Ionian Revolt (499 BC), the Cappadocians were reported as occupying a region from the Taurus Mountains to the vicinity of the Euxine (Black Sea). A diwan (from Persian language, Persian ; ) is a collection of Poetry, poems by a single author – usually excluding the poet's Mathnawi (poetic form), long poems – in Islamic cultures of West Asia, Central Asia, North Africa, Sicily and South Asia. The vast majority of Diwan poetry was Lyric poetry, lyric in nature: either ghazals (or ''gazel''s, which make up the greatest part of the repertoire of the tradition) or ''kasîde''s. Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport is the secondary international airport serving Istanbul, Turkey. Pendik () is a municipality and district of Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its area is 190 km2, and its population is 750,435 (2022). It is on the Asian side between Kartal and Tuzla, on the Marmara Sea.
