Capital City Derby Dolls
Ottawa Valley Roller Derby (OVRD) is a flat track roller derby league based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The league was created from a merger in 2018 between two local leagues that had been formed in 2008: Rideau Valley Roller Derby and Capital City Derby Dolls. The originator league joined the WFTDA Apprentice Program in 2011, graduating as a full member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association, Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) in June 2012. The league consists of eight teams: Ottawa Valley All-Stars (A); The Party Line and ByWard B (B); East Block, Centre Block and West Block (home teams; the Slaughter Squad (Men's Roller Derby Association, MRDA-aligned); and Ottawa Junior Roller Derby (Junior roller derby, Juniors). Women's Flat Track Derby Association Rankings
Rankings for the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) are used to determine placement in overall standings (rather than win–loss record) and also to determine seedings at WFTDA Playoffs. Achieving high rankings is also a goal for teams aiming to increase their stature in the organization. Each year at the end of June, teams are seeded into Division 1 and Division 2 playoff tournaments. Historically, the top 40 teams in the WFTDA as of June 30 were eligible for Division 1 tournaments that season, and the teams ranked 41–60 were eligible for Division 2 tournaments. For 2017, the Division 1 cutoff was reduced to the top 36 teams, with the next 16 teams qualifying for Division 2 Playoffs. Founded in 2005, the league currently consists of two mixed teams which compete against teams from other leagues. Stockholm Roller Derby (STRD) is a women's flat track roller derby league based in Stockholm, Sweden. Founded in 2007, the league currently consists of four teams which compete against teams from other leagues and the league also has their own group of officials. Stockholm Allstars consists of STRD’s WFTDA 20 charter. Stockholm BSTRDs compete in the top tier of Swedish national play, Elitserien. Stockholm C-Stars play in Division 2 of Swedish national play. Sun State Roller Derby is a women's flat track roller derby based in Brisbane, in the Australian state of Queensland. Suns State was established in 2007 and has been a member of the international Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) since 2013.
