The Cape Verde women's national football team (recognized as Cabo Verde by FIFA) represents Cape Verde in international women's association football and is governed by the Cape Verdean Football Federation. History Introduction In 1985, almost no country in the world had a women's national football team, including Cape Verde who have yet to play in a FIFA sanctioned match. A national team from Cape Verde has not represented the country in the major regional and international tournaments. This includes the Women's World Cup, the 2010 African Women's Championships during the preliminary rounds., and the 2011 All Africa Games. In March 2012, the team was not ranked in the world by FIFA. Cape Verdean Football Federation
The Cape Verdean Football Federation ( pt, Federação Caboverdiana de Futebol, FCF) is the governing body of football in Cape Verde. It was founded in 1982, affiliated to FIFA in 1986 and to CAF in 2000. It organizes the national football league and the national team. Its current president is Victor Osório since 2015. The federation is headquartered in the capital city of Praia and is located on Avenida Cidade de Lisboa in the subdivision of Várzea where the sport complexes are located. Its office is just south of Estádio da Várzea and features a small field on the east part. The building was completed in 2006 after the nearby stadium was also repaired. Estádio Nacional De Cabo Verde
Estádio Nacional de Cabo Verde is a multi-purpose stadium in Praia, Cape Verde. Used for football matches, it is home to the Cape Verde National football team. The stadium has an announced capacity of 15,000 people. It is owned by the government of Cape Verde, and operated by an appointed Commission of Stadium Administration. Following the death of Brazilian footballer Pelé, in January 2023 it was announced that the stadium would be renamed Estádio Pelé in tribute. History Funded by the Chinese government, the building started in October 2010, due to be completed in June 2012. 2024 Women's Africa Cup Of Nations Qualification
Qualification for the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations began on the week of 20–26 September 2023 and concluded on the week of 29 November – 5 December the same year. Its draw was held at the Mohammed VI Football Academy in Salé, Morocco on 6 July 2023 at 18:00 CET ( UTC+1). Korka Fall (born 19 February 1990) is a Senegalese women's international footballer who plays as a forward. She is a member of the Senegal women's national football team. She was part of the team at the 2012 African Women's Championship, and has continued to play for the team through to 2016.
