Cao Qing
Cao Qing (; born December 9, 1952) is a lieutenant general of the People's Liberation Army of China. Since 2015 he has been a deputy commander of the Beijing Military Region. From 2007 to 2015 he served as director of the Chinese Communist Party's Central Security Bureau (CSB), in charge of the security of top Chinese leaders. Cao was born in Pingshan County, Hebei. The 18th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party was elected by the 18th National Congress on 15 November 2012, and sat in plenary sessions until the communing of the 19th National Congress in 2017. Wang Shaojun (; 1955 – 26 April 2023) was a lieutenant general of the People's Liberation Army Ground Force. He was serving as the director of the Central Guard Bureau since 2015. Central Security Bureau Of The Communist Party Of China
The Central Guard Bureau (CGB) of the General Office of the Chinese Communist Party is the organization responsible for the protection of senior party members, their families, and important foreign dignitaries in the People's Republic of China. It has been widely called the CGB since the Cultural Revolution and is also the Ninth Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security. The CGB selects and controls the bodyguards of protectees; bodyguards are typically trained by the People's Liberation Army (PLA). It effectively controls the Central Guard Regiment by having bureau deputy directors in leadership positions in the unit. Jiang ( formerly romanized chiang and usually translated general) is a general officer rank used by China and Taiwan. It is also used as jang in North and South Korea, shō in Japan, and tướng in Vietnam. Chinese People's Liberation Army The same rank names are used for all services, prefixed by ''haijun'' () or ''kongjun'' (). Gang Of Four
The Gang of Four () was a Maoist political faction composed of four Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials. They came to prominence during the Cultural Revolution (1966–1976) and were later charged with a series of treasonous crimes due to their responsibility for the excesses and failures in the Cultural Revolution. The gang's leading figure was Jiang Qing (Mao Zedong's last wife). The other members were Zhang Chunqiao, Yao Wenyuan, and Wang Hongwen. The Gang of Four controlled the power organs of the CCP through the later stages of the Cultural Revolution, although it remains unclear which major decisions were made by Mao Zedong and carried out by the Gang, and which were the result of the Gang of Four's own planning. Ye Jianying (; 28 April 1897 – 22 October 1986) was a Chinese Communist revolutionary leader and politician, one of the Ten Marshals of the People's Republic of China.
