Its borders were modified at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Its seat is in Saint-Jean-de-Braye. The cantons of France are territorial subdivisions of the French Republic's departments and arrondissements. Saint-Jean-de-Braye () is a commune in the Loiret department in north-central France. It is an eastern suburb of Orléans. Bou, Loiret
Bou () is a commune in the French department of Loiret, north-central France. The village is situated in the greater Orléans area, in a meander of the river Loire, 14 km east of Orléans and 9 km west of the town of Jargeau.
