The Canon EOS 1000 (sold as the Canon EOS Rebel in the Americas) is an autofocus 35mm film, SLR camera introduced by Canon in 1990. Canon EOS 1000D
Canon EOS 1000D is a 10.1-megapixel digital single-lens reflex camera announced by Canon on 10 June 2008 and started shipping in mid August 2008. It is known as the EOS Kiss F in Japan and the EOS Rebel XS in the United States and Canada. The 1000D is an entry-level DSLR that has been described as being a step below the 450D. The camera shares a few features with the 450D. It offers Live View shooting, DIGIC III Image Processor, and SDHC media storage. However, it has seven focus points (opposed to nine) and does not have spot light metering. The Canon EOS 300D, manufactured by Canon, was marketed in North America as the EOS Digital Rebel, in Japan as the EOS Kiss Digital, and was also sold as the DS6041. It is a 6.3-megapixel entry-level digital single-lens reflex camera. It was initially announced on 20 August 2003 at a price point of without lens, with the "kit" lens. It is part of the Canon EOS line of cameras. This was a significant milestone in digital cameras, as it was the first digital SLR offered under $1000. Canon EF Lens Mount
The EF lens mount is the standard lens mount on the Canon EOS family of SLR film and digital cameras. EF stands for "Electro-Focus": automatic focusing on EF lenses is handled by a dedicated electric motor built into the lens. Mechanically, it is a Bayonet mount, bayonet-style mount, and all communication between camera and lens takes place through electrical contacts; there are no mechanical levers or plungers.
