Cannes-la-Bocca station ( French: ''Gare de Cannes-la-Bocca'') is a railway station in the city of Cannes, southern France. The station opened on 10 April 1863 when the line from Les Arcs to Cagnes-sur-Mer (part of the Marseille–Ventimiglia railway) opened to passengers. The station is both a passenger station and a goods/maintenance depot. Engine maintenance was transferred from Cannes-Ville in 1880 and the goods yard opened in 1883. The Marseille–Ventimiglia railway ( French: ''Ligne de Marseille-Saint-Charles à Vintimille''; Italian: ''Ferrovia Marsiglia-Ventimiglia'') is a French- Monégasque-Italian railway line. The line saw a steady decline in passengers and the station was closed in 1995. TER Provence Alpes-Côte-d'Azur, branded as TER Zou!, is the regional rail network serving the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Regions of France, region in France. Les Arcs () is a ski resort located in Savoie, France, in the Tarentaise Valley town of Bourg-Saint-Maurice. Initially created by Robert Blanc and Roger Godino, it is a part of the huge Paradiski system which is under ownership by Compagnie des Alpes, a French-listed company owning several other ski resorts as well as theme parks.
