A candle is an ignitable candle wick, wick embedded in wax, or another flammable solid substance such as tallow, that provides light, and in some cases, a Aroma compound, fragrance. Hungary was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with the song "Candlelight", composed by Viktor Rakonczai, with lyrics by Jánosi and Imre Mózsik, and performed by Csézy. The Hungarian participating broadcaster, (MTV), selected its entry through the national final . 15 entries competed in the national final where "" performed by Csézy was selected as the winner based on the votes of a four-member jury panel as well as the votes from the public. The song was later translated from Hungarian to English for Eurovision and was titled "Candlelight". Composer Rakonczai had represented as part of the band V.I.P.. Yann Peifer (born 6 March 1974), known professionally as Yanou, is a German trance and Eurodance musician and producer. He is most famous for collaborating on DJ Sammy's hit "Heaven" with vocalist Do and for being a member of the popular German trance acts Tune Up! with DJ Manian, and Cascada alongside Natalie Horler as well as Manian. Samuel Bouriah (born 19 October 1969), better known by his stage name DJ Sammy, is a Spanish DJ and record producer. He has released five albums and has had five top-10 hits, including a cover of Bryan Adams' "Heaven", which reached number one in the UK in 2002. His career started with ex-wife Marie-José van der Kolk in the making of his first singles, under the stage name of DJ Sammy featuring Carisma. Career DJ Sammy started his music career in 1984 in pubs and dance clubs of Mallorca. During this time he completed training as a sound technician at the Mallorca Music College. In 1991, he met dancer Marie-José van der Kolk and they performed at Zorba's Club in Palma. "Candlelights" is a 1930 jazz composition for solo piano by cornetist Bix Beiderbecke. It was the second in the series of four piano works which Bix Beiderbecke composed during his career. Background Bix Beiderbecke never recorded "Candlelights" but did copyright the piano score on August 29, 1930 as "A Modern Composition for the Piano". Bill Challis assisted with the transcription for piano. The score and the sheet music were published by Robbins Music in New York. "Candlelights" was recorded by jazz pianist Jess Stacy and was released as a 78 single in 1939 on Commodore Records as part of the Classics in Swing series, 517A. Jazz trumpeter Bunny Berigan subsequently recorded it in 1939 in an orchestral arrangement featuring trumpet. Six by Seven (also written as SIX.BY SEVEN or six.by seven or six.byseven) are an English indie rock band, formed in 1992 in Nottingham. The classic lineup of the band featured singer/guitarist Chris Olley, guitarist Sam Hempton, drummer Chris Davis, bassist Paul Douglas and keyboard player James Flower. The band split up in 2008, before re-forming in 2012 with Olley and Flower as the only original members.
