Jacob Candelaria
Jacob Rodney Candelaria (born 1987) is an American politician and attorney who served as a member of the New Mexico Senate for the 26th district from 2013 to 2022. First elected in 2012 as a Democrat, he later left the party in 2021 to become an independent. On December 6, 2021, Candelaria announced that he was changing his party affiliation from "Democrat" to "Independent politician, Decline to State". Candelaria was the first openly gay man elected to the New Mexico Legislature. Early life and career Candelaria was born in Albuquerque, and brought up by his grandmother Elodia Gloria Candelaria. Candelaria, officially the Municipality of Candelaria (; ; ), is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Zambales, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 30,263 people. History During the pre-Spanish era, the area of Candelaria was unsettled forest. The Spanish East Indies government made it a sitio of Masinloc, one of the oldest towns of Zambales. Sambal settlers from other parts of Masinloc, who found Candelaria an ideal location to live, played an important role in creating Candelaria as a separate town in 1870. PNR South Long Haul
The PNR South Long Haul, also known as the PNR Bicol, was a proposed inter-city rail line project in southern Luzon, Philippines. It is part of the larger Luzon Rail System, a network of long-distance standard-gauge lines being built by the Philippine National Railways throughout Luzon. It is one of the two lines would have reconstructed the historic PNR South Main Line, along with the electrified North–South Commuter Railway South section to Calamba, Laguna. The line will initially begin at Banlic station in Calamba, Laguna and terminate at Daraga, Albay. It would have also plan an additional extensions, infill stations, and branch lines. The masterplan line shall connect passengers from Sucat station in Muntinlupa to either the Batangas International Port, Legazpi, Albay, or Matnog, Sorsogon.
