Confession are an Australian metalcore band from Melbourne. The band was formed in 2008 by frontman Michael Crafter, who is best known as the former lead vocalist of metalcore bands I Killed the Prom Queen, Carpathian and Bury Your Dead. They have released one EP titled '' Can't Live, Can't Breathe'' and three albums: ''Cancer'', '' The Long Way Home'' and ''Life and Death''. History Formation and ''Can't Live, Can't Breathe'' (2008–2009) Confession was started by Michael Crafter in 2008, following his Australian farewell tour with I Killed the Prom Queen. Metalcore is a broadly defined fusion genre combining elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk, originating in the 1990s United States and becoming popular in the 2000s. The Red Shore
The Red Shore were an Australian deathcore band from Geelong, Victoria, formed in 2004. They signed to Big Phat Adelaide Records and Modern Music in 2006 and released their first EP, '' Salvaging What's Left''. on March 27, 2006, the band raised national headlines when they were involved in a fatal bus crash while on tour, claiming the lives of vocalist Damien Morris and roadie Andy Milner. Following the accident, the members decided to continue as a band with bass player Jamie Hope moving up to vocals as well as signing to Siege of Amida Records. The group released their debut album, '' Unconsecrated'', in 2008. Michael Crafter is an Australian singer, songwriter and entertainment manager. His music career began as lead vocalist for I Killed the Prom Queen. Crafter is the vocalist of Confession, and formerly fronted Carpathian and Bury Your Dead. He also founded the Mistake clothing label, tattoo shops and a printing business. Deez Nuts are an Australian band that formed in Melbourne in 2007. Equally influenced by hardcore punk and Hip hop music, hip hop, the band currently consists of vocalist JJ Peters, guitarist Matt Rogers (a.k.a. Real Bad), and drummer Alex Salinger. The band has released one EP and six studio albums. History Formation and ''Rep Your Hood'' (2007–2008) Deez Nuts started after the disbanding of Australian metalcore band I Killed the Prom Queen, of which JJ Peters was the drummer.
