Canadian International School of Phnom Penh is an international school in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. It has three campuses: Koh Pich (Diamond Island), the Bassac Garden Preschool, and the Olympia City Preschool. The Koh Pich campus is in Chamkar Mon Section, the Bassac Garden Preschool is in Chamkar Mon Section, and the Olympia City Preschool is in Prampir Makara Section. History It was established in 2012. Phnom Penh (; km, ភ្នំពេញ, ) is the capital and most populous city of Cambodia. Koh Pich
Diamond Island ( km, កោះពេជ្រ, , lit. "Diamond Island") is a satellite city in Phnom Penh on the Mekong and Bassac rivers. The land was a swamp until the year 2000, but it is now (2017) under work and could become the Phnom Penh residential district and a separate municipality. A neighborhood named "Elysée" has a style inspired by Paris. In other areas, high towers are under construction. Almost all of the island is in Chamkar Mon Section. Chamkar Mon ( km, ចំការមន, meaning 'Mulberry Farm') is the southernmost district in central Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The district has an area of 10.56 km2. ''The Cambodia Daily'' is an English and Khmer language news site that writes and aggregates news about Cambodia. It was originally an English-language daily newspaper based in Cambodia from 1993 to 2017, and was considered a newspaper of record for Cambodia. According to the owners, the 2017 closure was the result of a dispute with the Cambodian government over a US$6.3 million tax bill, which was disputed by the newspaper's ownership as politically motivated. Tuol Kouk ( km, ទួលគោក ; meaning "Dry Hill") is a district (''khan'') in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Tuol Kouk is well known for the large villas in its northern part of the district. This district is subdivided into 10 '' sangkats'' and 143 villages. The district has an area of 7.99 km2. After boundary changes, its population has decreased to 145,570.
