Luis González Torres de Navarra Castro, 5th Marquis of Campoverde, was a Spanish military commander during the Peninsular War. Highly polemical, according to his biography at Spain's Real Academia de la Historia, all Spanish and British historians have criticised his command of the Army of Catalonia and, especially, his role in the fall of Tarragona in June 1811. Fernando Carbone Campoverde
Fernando Ignacio Carbone Campoverde (born 14 March 1959) is a Peruvian Medical Surgeon. He was the Minister of Health of Peru from 2002 to 2003. Biography Fernando Carbone Campoverde is the son of Juan Carbone Fossa and Nelly Campoverde Ayres. He studied at the Colegio San Agustín in Lima, later entering the National University of San Marcos, where he studied medicine. Between 1995 and 2000 he was a member of the Family Commission of the Peruvian Episcopal Conference. Between 1998 and 1999 he was a member of the Ethics Commission of the Medical College of Peru. He collaborated with the Government Planning Commission of Possible Peru in 2000 and was a member of the Transfer Commission of the Health Sector in 2001. Pinar de Campoverde (''Pine Forest in/of the Green Field'' literally) is a small village located at the foot of the Sierra de Escalona mountain range, nine kilometres from Pilar de la Horadada borough council, in the province of Alicante, Spain. The town has around 3000 inhabitants and is ten kilometres from the Mediterranean coastline. History The town has only developed since the mid-1980s when many British, German, French and Scandinavian expatriates settled in villas. Originally, the area had been a large pine forest, next to the Río Seco river and had little agricultural importance until much of the wooded area was cleared for orange and lemon groves. Carlos "Charlie" Enrique Parra del Riego Campoverde (born March 5, 1985, in Lima, Peru) is a Peruvian guitarist and composer. He is also known as Charlie Parra. Early life Born in Lima, Peru, Charlie was thirteen years old when he started to learn his first instrument, which was a Peruvian Cajón. Spending a lot of his childhood playing games and not being a great student, his parents were told by a school therapist that he ought to learn an instrument in order to focus his energy on something. This led to Charlie picking up the guitar.
