Adriaan Gilles Camper
Adriaan Gilles Camper (March 31, 1759 – February 5, 1820) was a 19th-century Dutch mathematics and physics professor at the University of Franeker who took to politics and became a statesman in his later years. He was the son of Petrus Camper is known today primarily for his paleontological work in collaboration with his father, causing several fossil holotypes to be named after him, such as the Puppigerus P. Camperi. The engravings he commissioned on the basis of his father's work were published by Barthélemy Faujas de Saint-Fond. He himself wrote several books on paleontology, including a catalog of his collection of fossils and minerals. His daughter Frederica married one of his pupils in Franeker, the Dutch geologist J.G.S. van Breda (who later became curator of the Teylers Museum in Haarlem). Cameron Elijah Camper (born August 21, 2001) is an American professional football wide receiver for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Trinity Valley Cardinals, Indiana Hoosiers and Boise State Broncos. Early life and high school Camper was born in Willingboro, New Jersey. Cardell Camper
Cardell Camper (July 6, 1952 – December 7, 2010) was an American professional baseball pitcher. Career Camper played seven seasons in the minors, in the St. Louis Cardinals, Cleveland Indians and Philadelphia Phillies organizations; when the Indians expanded their roster in September 1977, Camper was brought up. He appeared in three games: pitching two scoreless innings September 11 (in Baltimore) and again on September 17 (at home against Toronto), before starting in Toronto October 2. The Blue Jays touched him for four runs on seven hits in six innings, but Camper got the win as the Tribe triumphed, 5–4. It was his last major league appearance. That winter, Camper was traded to the Phillies for eccentric outfielder Joe Charboneau, who became the American League Rookie of the Year in 1980 before injuries ended his career. Carter James Camper (born July 6, 1988) is an American professional ice hockey forward currently playing for IK Oskarshamn of the HockeyAllsvenskan. In 2010, after four seasons in the NCAA, Camper signed with the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League (NHL). Since turning professional, he has played most of his professional career in the American Hockey League (AHL). Cathy Camper (born in 1956, in Madison, Wisconsin) is an Arab-American artist, librarian and author of books for children and teens. She wrote ''Bugs Before Time'', illustrated by Steve Kirk, and the graphic novel series ''Lowriders in Space'', illustrated by Raúl the Third. She has also exhibited seed art, entering work in the Minnesota State Fair's Crop Art show starting in 1989. Her portrait of James Brown was featured in ''Simple Times: Crafts for Poor People'' by Amy Sedaris. Cayden Camper is an American football placekicker who last played for the Colorado State Rams. Early years Camper attended Pueblo County High School where he played placekicker and punter. He was named the special teams Player of the Year for the Hornets in 2018, as well as being named a first-team all-state punter. Joseph Franklin Camper Jr (born 1946) is an American veteran, mercenary, and writer. Camper served in the Vietnam War in the late 1960s, after which he began working as a mercenary and FBI informant.
