Camille Laus (born 23 May 1993) is a Belgian athlete sprinter. She ran in the national team which placed 5th in the relay at the 2019 World Championships, setting Belgian record of 3:26.58 sec in the heats. Laus also competed in the mixed relay event at the 2019 World Championships, where Belgian team placed 6th with the national record time of 3:14.22 s. In 2024, at the World Athletics Relays in The Bahamas, she was on the teams that qualified Belgium for the 4 × 400 metres mixed relay and the women's 4 × 400 metres relay at the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris, France. And later that same year, she was on the Belgian 4 x 400 metres women's relay team that won a bronze medal at the European Athletics Championships having anchored the team in the first round of the competition. European Athletics Championships
The European Athletics Championships is a biennial (from 2010) athletics event organised by the European Athletic Association and is recognised as the elite continental outdoor athletics championships for Europe. Editions First held, for men only, in 1934 in Turin, and separately for women for the first time in Vienna in 1938, the Championships took place every four years following the end of the World War II, with the exception of the 1969 and 1971 editions, becoming a joint men's and women's competition from the third edition in 1946 in Oslo. The 400 metres, or 400-meter dash, is a sprint event in track and field competitions. It has been featured in the athletics programme at the Summer Olympics since 1896 for men and since 1964 for women. On a standard outdoor running track, it is one lap around the track. Runners start in staggered positions and race in separate lanes for the entire course.
