Camila Vallejo
Camila Antonia Amaranta Vallejo Dowling (; born 28 April 1988) is a Chilean politician and former student leader, currently serving as the Ministry General Secretariat of Government (Chile), Minister General Secretariat of Government since 11 March 2022. A member of the Communist Party of Chile, she previously represented Electoral divisions of Chile, District 26 of La Florida, Chile, La Florida, Santiago, in the Chamber of Deputies of Chile, Chamber of Deputies. Vallejo gained national prominence as the president of the University of Chile Student Federation (FECh) and spokesperson for the Confederation of Chilean Students (Confech) during the 2011–2013 Chilean student protests, 2011 student protests. Gladys Marín
Gladys del Carmen Marín Millie (; July 18, 1937 – March 6, 2005) was a Chilean activist and political figure. She was Secretary-General of the Communist Party of Chile (PCCh) (1994–2002) and then president of the PCCh until her death. She was a staunch opponent of General Augusto Pinochet and filed the first lawsuit against him, in which she accused him of committing human rights violations during his seventeen-year dictatorship. Gladys Marín was the youngest person ever elected to the Chilean Congress, the first woman to run for the country's presidency and the only female leader of a Chilean political party. ''La Nación'' is a Chilean newspaper created in 1917 by Eliodoro Yáñez and presided until 1927 by Carlos Dávila. Macul
Macul ( Quechua: "to stretch out right hand") is a commune of Chile located in the central-eastern part of the Greater Santiago area, bordered by the communes of Ñuñoa to the north, San Joaquín to the west, Peñalolén to the east and La Florida to the south. It is predominantly a residential and industrial zone, although its activities have been diversifying in recent times, which has necessitated improvements in infrastructure and connectivity with the rest of the city.
