Cambrian Hall is a private school located in the district of Dehradun, now the capital of Indian state of Uttarakhand. Cambrian Hall is a residential day, co-educational English Medium School. It is certified by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi. Cambrian Hall is located close to the Indian Military Academy and Forest Research Institute of India. Founded in 1954 by Col. Shashi Jung Bahadur Rana, the school is now run by a board, which comprises members of the founding family, educators, and prominent citizens. The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) is an examination conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, a private board designed to provide an examination in a course of general education, in accordance with the recommendations of the New Education Policy 1986 (India), through the medium of English. The examination allows secure suitable representations of responsible schools (which are affiliated to it) in their states or territories. General Bipin Rawat (16 March 1958 – 8 December 2021) was an Indian military officer who was a four-star general of the Indian Army.
