Alba Rojo Cama
Alba Teresa Rojo Cama (28 April 1961 – 16 August 2016) was a Mexican sculptor known for her geometric artworks. Life Rojo was born on 28 April 1961 in Mexico City. She was the daughter of artist Vicente Rojo Almazán (1932–2021) and his wife, editor Alba Cama de Rojo (1937–2003), both of whom were originally from Barcelona and became refugees in Mexico from the Spanish Civil War. After high school at Colegio Madrid in Mexico City, she studied mathematics at the National Autonomous University of Mexico from 1981 to 1986, and then worked for the university as a science communicator, before devoting herself to sculpture in the late 1980s. She died on 16 August 2016 after a three-year battle with cancer. Fereimi Cama (2 March 1955 – 2 July 2021) was an Anglican bishop. He was the first Fijian to be Bishop of Polynesia in the diocese's history. Cama was born on 2 March 1955 in the Fijian village of Nukuni, Ono-i-Lau. He was raised a Methodist but became an Anglican in 1987. He became a lay reader and then studied for ordination. James Cama Sr. (December 8, 1957 – August 15, 2014) was an American martial arts practitioner and teacher. Career Beginning his martial arts training as a young child, Cama soon became a notable student of Peter Urban and opened his own first dojo at the age of 18. He eventually reached the rank of 8th Dan in Urban's American Goju system. While still teaching karate and studying under Urban, Cama experimented and studied for shorter periods of time a variety of styles, including Eagle Claw and Hung Gar. James eventually ended up becoming a disciple of Henry Leung, of the Buddha Hand Wing Chun system. Sifu Leung was the only recognized grand-master of the Fut Sao Wing Chun system in the West. Kharshedji Rustomji Cama (1831–1909), often known as K. R. Cama, was an Indian Parsi scholar and reformer from Bombay. Early life Born in a privileged family, Cama gained a reputation as a scholar. He had a traditional Parsi education, and then went to Elphinstone School in Bombay. Leaving in 1849, he joined a trading house in Calcutta, and then travelled in 1850 to London, returning in 1854 to Bombay. He went into business with Dadabhai Naoroji, and again visited Europe in 1855, and studied with orientalists there: Julius Mohl and Julius Oppert in Paris, and Friedrich von Spiegel at the University of Erlangen. Naoroji with Cama and his cousin Muncherjee Hormusji Cama set up the first Indian trading firm in Europe, based in London and Liverpool. Cama and Naoroji then dropped out, however, because of the firm's dealings in alcohol and opium.
