Calvin Collins
Calvin Lewis Collins (born January 5, 1974) is an American former professional football player who was a guard for seven seasons in the National Football League (NFL) from 1997–2004. He started in Super Bowl XXXIII for the Atlanta Falcons. Early life Collins was born in Beaumont, Texas and played high school football at West Brook Senior High School in Beaumont where he was teammates with Frank Middleton and James Brown. He started on both offense and defense and earned Scholar Athlete of the Year honors his senior year. Collins also was a member of the National Honor Society and the West Brook Powerlifting team. Collins was the number one rated offensive lineman in the state in 1992 and ranked in the top ten also as a defensive lineman. In American football, a guard (G), otherwise known as an offensive guard (OG), is an Lineman (gridiron football), offensive line player who lines up between the center (American football), center and the offensive tackle, tackles. The UCLA Bruins football program represents the University of California, Los Angeles, in college football as members of the Big Ten Conference at the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) level. Powerlifting
Powerlifting is a competitive strength athletics, strength sport that consists of three attempts at maximal weight on three lifts: Squat (exercise), squat, bench press, and deadlift. As in the sport of Olympic weightlifting, it involves the athlete attempting a maximal weight single-lift effort of a barbell loaded with weight plates. Frank Middleton
Frank Middleton Jr. (born October 25, 1974) is an American former professional football player who was an offensive guard for eight seasons in the National Football League (NFL) during the 1990s and early 2000s. Middleton played college football for the Arizona Wildcats. He was selected in the third round of the 1997 NFL draft with the 63rd overall pick, and played professionally for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Oakland Raiders.
