Callum Robinson
Callum Jack Robinson (born 2 February 1995) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for club Cardiff City and the Republic of Ireland national team. Robinson is a product of the Aston Villa academy. He twice played for Preston on loan from Aston Villa before joining on a permanent deal in 2016. Robinson played internationally for England at all youth levels up to the under-20 side but declared for the Republic of Ireland in March 2018, for whom he is qualified by maternal descent. Club career Aston Villa Robinson is a product of the Aston Villa youth team. He made his Villa debut on 24 September 2013 in the League Cup third round in a 0–4 home defeat by Tottenham Hotspur, replacing Aleksandar Tonev for the final eight minutes. A transfer window is the period during the year in which a football club can transfer players from other playing staff into their playing staff. Such a transfer is completed by registering the player into the new club through FIFA. The 2014–15 Football League One (referred to as the Sky Bet League One for sponsorship reasons) was the eleventh season of the Football League One under its current title and the twenty-second season under its current league division format. The season began on 9 August 2014. Bristol City won the league to return to the Championship after a two-year absence. They were unbeaten for the first 16 matches of the season and also finished with the best goal difference and best defence. MK Dons pipped Preston North End to 2nd place on the last day of the season after the Lancashire club lost at Colchester.
