Alexander Martín Callens Asín (born 4 May 1992) is a Peruvian professional footballer who plays as a central defender for La Liga side Girona and the Peru national team. Club career Sport Boys Born in Callao, Callens played youth football with Sport Boys. He made his professional debut on 18 April 2010 in a 3–1 loss at León de Huánuco in the Peruvian Primera División, and scored his first goal on 19 June in another away defeat, 2–1 against Inti Gas Deportes. Spain Callens signed a two-year contract with Real Sociedad from Spain in August 2011, being assigned to the reserves. He went on to spend several Segunda División B seasons with the latter. On 4 December 2014, Callens made his debut with the first team, featuring the entire second half of the 0–0 draw at Real Oviedo in the round of 32 of the Copa del Rey. Norbert Callens
Norbert Callens (22 June 1924 in Wakken, West Flanders – 12 March 2005) was a former Belgian professional road bicycle racer. He was a professional from 1945 to 1952. His victories include one stage win in the Tour de France and the 1945 edition of the Tour of Belgium. In the 1949 Tour de France, Callens was leading the general classification after he won stage 3, finishing in Boulogne-sur-Mer. Unfortunately for Callens, the truck with the jerseys had broken down and there was no yellow jersey available. The next stage, Callens started with an unofficial yellow jersey, and lost the lead to Jacques Marinelli. In 1994, the Tour de France had a stage finish in Boulogne-sur-Mer again. Callens was invited there, and finally got his yellow jersey, 45 years late. Els Callens (born 20 August 1970) is a former professional female tennis player from Belgium. Callens became professional in January 1990. Her biggest achievement came in 2000 during the Summer Olympics in Sydney where she won the bronze medal in women's doubles, partnering Dominique Van Roost-Monami. She retired on 26 October 2005, after losing her second-round match at the Gaz de France Stars tournament in Hasselt. She startet a comeback, and finally retired from professional tennis in 2011. Brigitta Callens (born 28 September 1980 in Oudenaarde, East Flanders, Belgium) was Miss Belgium 1999 and her country's representative to Miss World 1999. Brigitta "Gitta" Callens was born in Oudenaarde, a small town in the Flemish Ardennes. She was a ballerina for 8 years when she was a young girl. She spent her childhood in Oudenaarde and moved to Ghent, during her teens to study languages. Flemish (''Vlaams'') is a Low Franconian dialect cluster of the Dutch language. It is sometimes referred to as Flemish Dutch (), Belgian Dutch ( ), or Southern Dutch ().
