Call (Pakistani Band)
Call () is a Pakistani rock band from Lahore, Pakistan. The current line-up was formed in 2002, the group consists of Junaid Khan (lead vocalist), Zulfiqar J. Khan (lead guitar, producer) and Muhammad Sultan Raja (rhythm guitar). Call's musical style has remained predominately alternative rock, with some commercial mainstream ballads centered on Junaid's powerful expressive vocals, melancholic soundscapes, intricate guitar riffs and iconic drum beats. Their lyrics, often embellished with imagery, focus on themes such as identity, patriotism and longing. Popular for their live performances, the group have staged several lighting sequences and powerful drum sections. The band became noted for their refusal to adhere to traditional pre-recorded performances, and generating the #Asliwalalive (meaning "the real live") a nod to their live and electrifying performances. List Of Pakistani Music Bands
Pakistan's music band scene was discovered in the 60s. The Panthers, a Karachi-based band founded in the late 60s, consisted of Norman Braganza (Lead Guitar and Vocals), Fasahat Husain Syed (Keyboard, Sitar and Tabla), Eric Fernandes (Bass Guitar) and Syed Ahsan Sajjad (Drums and Vocals). The Panthers recorded two albums: 'Folk Tunes of Pakistan on Electric Sitar and Western Instruments' and 'East Goes West,' both released by EMI Pakistan. The Panthers disbanded in the early 70s when one of the band members left the country to settle overseas after Pakistan's authoritarian regime gained momentum. Sharoon Leo
Haroon and Sharoon Leo (born 27 July 1993), professionally known as Leo Twins, are Pakistani musicians and multi-instrumentalists. The Leo Twins began their career on the popular TV show Nescafé Basement where they became regular part of the house band under the production of Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan. Life and career Born in Rawalpindi to a Christian family, the Leo Twins studied at the Punjab College of Information Technology. They started their career from Nescafe Basement Season 3. The 2010 ICC World Twenty20 was the third edition of the Men's T20 World Cup, formerly known as the ICC World Twenty20, an international Twenty20 cricket tournament that was held in the West Indies between 30 April and 16 May 2010. ''Ek Chalis Ki Last Local'' ( English: ''Last Local of 1:40'') is a 2007 Indian Bollywood adventure comedy thriller directed by Sanjay Khanduri, starring Abhay Deol and Neha Dhupia. ''Dhoom'' (Urdu: دھوم, literal English translation: "blast") is the second studio album by the Pakistani rock band Call, released in January 2011. The album included the singles "Laree Chootee" (from '' Ek Chalis Ki Last Local''), "Yeh Pal" (from '' Aasma: The Sky Is the Limit'') and "Dharkay Jiya" (from '' Aloo Chaat'') which featured in several Bollywood movies as soundtracks. The album also included the patriotic songs "Humse Hai Ye Zamana" and "Aasmaan".
