William Wing (1827 - 9 January 1855, London) was an English zoological illustrator and entomologist. He was a member of the Entomological Society of London from 1847 and in 1853-1854 assisted John William Douglas his role as minutes secretary. Moths are a group of insects that includes all members of the order Lepidoptera that are not Butterfly, butterflies. The Natural History Museum in London is a museum that exhibits a vast range of specimens from various segments of natural history. It is one of three major museums on Exhibition Road in South Kensington, the others being the Science Museum (London), Science Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum.
