Highway 131 (AR 131, Ark. 131, and Hwy. 131) is a designation for five north–south state highways in northeast Arkansas. One route of runs from Highway 1 in Haynes east to Lee County Road 719. A second route of begins at US Route 79 (US 79) near Brickeys and runs south to the Mississippi River levee. A third route of forms a semicircle around Horseshoe Lake and Porter Lake, connecting to Highway 147 at both ends. A fourth route of begins at Highway 147 and runs through Edmondson. Connecticut () is the southernmost state in the New England region of the Northeastern United States. It is bordered by Rhode Island to the east, Massachusetts to the north, New York to the west, and Long Island Sound to the south. Its capital is Hartford and its most populous city is Bridgeport. SH 131's southern terminus is at Interstate 70 in Colorado, Interstate 70 (I-70) in Wolcott, Colorado, Wolcott, and the northern terminus is at U.S. Route 40 in Colorado, U.S. Route 40 (US 40) east of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, Steamboat Springs. SH 131 travels through the towns of State Bridge, Bond, Colorado, Bond, McCoy, Colorado, McCoy, Toponas, Yampa, and Oak Creek, Colorado, Oak Creek. History The route was established in the 1920s, when it connected State Bridge, Colorado, State Bridge to its current terminus at US 40.
