California Skateparks (or CA Skateparks) is a skate park and action sports facility builder and designer. Founded in 1989 and based in Upland, California, CA Skateparks has constructed municipal city and county parks, action sports competition arenas, and professional athlete's private facilities. Skatepark
A skatepark, or skate park, is a purpose-built recreational environment made for skateboarding, BMX, scootering, wheelchairs, and aggressive inline skating. A skatepark may contain half-pipes, handrails, funboxes, vert ramps, stairsets, quarter pipes, ledges, spine transfers, pyramids, banked ramps, full pipes, pools, bowls, snake runs, and any number of other objects. History The first skatepark in the world, Surf City, opened for business at 5140 E. Speedway in Tucson, Arizona on September 3, 1965. Action sports, adventure sports or extreme sports are activities perceived as involving a high degree of risk. Upland is a city in San Bernardino County, California, United States on the border with neighboring Los Angeles County. The municipality is located at an elevation of 1,242 feet (379 m). Robert Stanley Dyrdek (born June 28, 1974) is an American entrepreneur, actor, producer, reality TV personality, and former professional skateboarder. ''Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory'' is an American reality television series that aired on MTV from February 8, 2009, to March 5, 2015. On September 17, 2013, it was announced that ''Fantasy Factory'' was renewed for a sixth season, which premiered on January 16, 2014. The sixth season was originally announced to be the final season, but in June 2014, MTV announced that ''Fantasy Factory'' would return for a seventh season. ''The Orange County Register'' is a paid daily newspaper published in California. The ''Register'', published in Orange County, California, is owned by the private equity firm Alden Global Capital via its Digital Fiest/Media News subsidiaries.
