Caleb Lohner
Caleb Lohner (born October 1, 2001) is an American professional football tight end for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). He played college basketball for the BYU Cougars men's basketball, BYU Cougars and the Baylor Bears men's basketball, Baylor Bears before switching to playing college football upon transferring to the Utah Utes football, Utah Utes. Lohner was selected by the Broncos in the seventh round of the 2025 NFL draft. Early life Lohner attended Flower Mound High School in Flower Mound, Texas for two years before he transferred to Wasatch Academy in Utah for his junior and senior year. College career BYU Lohner started his college career at Brigham Young University in 2020, where his father had played basketball. Tight End
The tight end (TE) is an offense (sports), offensive position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football. It is a hybrid that combines the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a receiver (football), receiver. As part of the receiver corps, they play inside the flanks (tight), contrasted with the split end who plays outside the flanks (wide). Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers.
