The Calatayud Ladies Open is a women's professional golf tournament on the LET Access Series, held in Calatayud, Province of Zaragoza, Spain. The LETAS tournament in Spain moved to Calatayud in 2022 after being held in Murcia in 2010 and 2011, and Costa Blanca in 2014. Calatayud
Calatayud (; 2014 pop. 20,658) is a municipality in the Province of Zaragoza, within Aragón, Spain, lying on the river Jalón, in the midst of the Sistema Ibérico mountain range. It is the second-largest town in the province after the capital, Zaragoza, and the largest town in Aragón other than the three provincial capitals. It is the seat of the comarca of Calatayud. Its population has been declining during the last decade due to migration. The town motto is ''Muy noble, leal, siempre augusta y fidelísima ciudad de Calatayud'' ("The very noble, loyal, always august and most faithful town of Calatayud"). Sofie Kibsgaard Nielsen
Sofie Kibsgaard Nielsen (born 5 May 1999) is a Danish professional golfer and Ladies European Tour. In 2023, she won three times on the LET Access Series and secured the Order of Merit title. As an amateur, she won the European Nations Cup – Copa Sotogrande and played in the final of the 2022 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championships. Amateur career Nielsen had a successful amateur career and represented the Danish National Team in European and World Championships between 2016 and 2022. Dale Reid
Dale Reid (born 20 March 1959) is a Scottish professional golfer from Ladybank, Fife. She is one of the most successful players in the history of the Ladies European Tour, with 21 tournament victories. She topped the Order of Merit in 1984 and 1987 and was made a life member of the tour after collecting her 20th title at the 1991 Ford Classic. She played for Europe in the first four Solheim Cups (1990, 1992, 1994 and 1996) and was Europe's non-playing captain in 2000 and 2002. She worked full-time in a care home in Cupar, Fife for a short time as a social care worker, shortly after leaving this job she moved to Australia where she now resides. Laurette Maritz (born 13 January 1964) is a South African professional golfer. She won three titles on the Ladies European Tour between 1988 and 1990, and was LET Rookie of the Year in 1988. Early life and amateur career Maritz grew up in Johannesburg and started playing golf when she was 11. Consumed by the sport, she quit high school after the 11th grade. Playing on the South African National Team, she won tournaments in Europe, and she was thinking about turning professional. After meeting LPGA Tour player Sally Little in 1983 she accepted a golf scholarship to United States International University in San Diego, where she earned All-American honors four times and a BA in Physical Education. The LET Access Series is the second-tier women's professional golf tour in Europe and is the official developmental tour of the Ladies European Tour. Julie Tvede
Julie Tvede (born 21 May 1980) is a Danish professional golfer who played on the LPGA Futures Tour and the Ladies European Tour. Amateur career Tvede was member of the Danish national team from 1998 to 2004. She was runner-up in the 2000 and 2001 Danish National Championship and she represented Denmark at the Espirito Santo Trophy in 2002 with Mette Buus and Lisa Holm Sørensen. She played college golf at the University of Tulsa and won the Western Athletic Conference in 2003.
