Caféine
''Caféine'' is the second album from French singer Christophe Willem. It was released on 25 May 2009 by Columbia. The lead single is "Berlin" and was released for download on 28 March 2009. Background Mid-2008, Christophe Willem confirmed the recording of his second studio album, which will be released on April 16, 2009, two years to the day after his first album. Rumours say the album would have an electronic-oriented sound and produce by Minogue's producers. On October 31, ''Christophe-willem.com'' announced the possibility that the album would contain a duet with Kylie Minogue on the track called "''Sensitized''". The title "Caféine" was made official on February 6, 2009, but other rumours appeared. The first said Jennifer Ayache, singer from French rock-band Superbus, gave Willem a song named ''"Dansez"''. Christophe Frédéric Durier (; born 3 August 1983), better known by his stage name Christophe Willem (), is a French singer and the winner of the fourth edition of ''Nouvelle Star'' (French version of ''Pop Idol'') in 2006. Early life Willem spent most of his life in Deuil-la-Barre (Val-d'Oise), where his parents run a driving school. As a child, he learned figure skating and to play the piano. Later he learned to sing as part of a gospel music, gospel choir "Young Voices". He also was composing songs at the age of fourteen. Stephen John Anderson (born 1969 in Southend-on-Sea) is a British musician, songwriter and record producer. Guy Antony Chambers (born 12 January 1963) is an English songwriter, musician and record producer, best known for his work with Robbie Williams. Education Chambers attended Quarry Bank Comprehensive School sixth form in Liverpool. From 18, he studied composition and piano at the Guildhall School of Music, London, where he won the 1985 composition prize. ''Inventaire'' is the name given to the debut album of the French singer Christophe Willem. It was released on April 16, 2007 and was supported by the two hit singles " Double Je" and " Jacques a dit", which were top five hits in France and Belgium. The album was mainly composed by the French artists Zazie and Philippe Katerine. It was the third more successful album of 2007 in France, and a huge success in francophone countries, with about 1 million copies sold. " Double Je" topped the French charts and was awarded the Victoire de la Musique for Song of the Year, while Willem won Best French Revelation of the Year. ''Prismophonic'' is the third album by French singer Christophe Willem. It was released on 21 November 2011 and produced three singles: "Cool", "Si mes larmes tombent" and "Starlite". The first single, "Cool", was released on 20 September 2011. It was released as both a physical and digital single. Fellow French singer Zaho features on the song "Indelebile", and Kylie Minogue co-wrote the song "Pas Si Loin". The album was released in both a standard and collector's edition format. The collector's edition includes a bonus DVD and comes in a silver/grey box. An English-language version titled ''Love Shot Me Down'' was released on 17 December 2012. Superbus (band)
Superbus is a five-piece French pop rock band formed in 1999 with Jenn Ayache on lead vocals. The band's name is from the Latin word '' superbus'', meaning ''proud'', which Ayache stumbled upon while browsing through a Latin dictionary. The band has released five studio albums to date and a compilation album. Beginnings After a trip to the United States to perfect her English in 1999, Jennifer Ayache looked for musicians to form a group. Matthew Nicholas Hales (born 17 January 1972) is an English singer, songwriter, musician and record producer who has been performing professionally under the name Aqualung since the early 2000s.
