Café Teatret
Café Teatret is a theater in Copenhagen, Denmark that was established in 1972. It is located in Skindergade. The company stages new Danish plays as well as Danish premieres of foreign plays. One season usually sees between four and eight productions. Apart from the theater itself there's Café Teatret Kafcafeen which presents its own independent program with one-night events, including debate meetings. In 2011, Christian Lollike joined as Artistic Director with the ambition to create contemporary performing arts and a theatre with an international outreach. Since then, the theatre has undergone a major artistic change and has become significantly noticed both home and abroad. In May 2014, the theatre changed name to Sort/Hvid, but only half a year later there was a fire in the historic theatre in Skindergade, and the building was damaged for good. Skindergade
Skindergade is a street in central Copenhagen, Denmark. Running roughly parallel to Strøget, to which it is connected through Jorcks Passage, it extends for approximately 400 metres from Gammeltorv to Købmagergade. History Its name dates back to the 15th century when it was a venue for leather craftsmen (''skinder-'' derives from Danish "Skind", meaning ''skin'') such as skinners, glovers, purse-, saddle- and shoemakers. Notable buildings and residents Pressens Hus at No. 5–7 is home to the Danish Media Association. It is a former commerce house from 1902, expanded with a glazed extension by Erik Korshagen in 1976. Fjotolf Hansen (born 13 February 1979), better known by his birth name Anders Behring Breivik () and by his pseudonym Andrew Berwick, is a Norwegian far-right domestic terrorist, known for committing the 2011 Norway attacks on 22 July 2011. On that day, he killed eight people by detonating a van bomb at Regjeringskvartalet in Oslo, then killed 69 participants of a Workers' Youth League (AUF) summer camp in a mass shooting on the island of Utøya. Breivik's trial was held in 2012. After being found psychologically competent to stand trial, in July 2012, he was found guilty of mass murder, causing a fatal explosion, and terrorism. Breivik was sentenced to the maximum civilian criminal penalty in Norway, which is 21 years imprisonment in addition to preventive detention, which is the possibility of one or more extensions for as long as he is deemed a danger to society.
