Caden Prieskorn
Caden Reed Prieskorn (born September 21, 1999) is an American football tight end for the Ole Miss Rebels. He previously played for the Memphis Tigers. High school career Prieskorn attended Orchard Lake High School in Orchard Lake Village, Michigan where he played as a quarterback. As a junior, Prieskorn helped lead Orchard Lake to a state championship, throwing for 200 yards and two touchdowns in the championship game. Following his time at Orchard Lake, he enrolled at Fork Union Military Academy as a postgraduate before deciding to walk-on at the University of Memphis. College career Memphis Upon arriving at Memphis, Prieskorn switched positions from quarterback to tight end.After redshirting in 2019 and playing sparingly the next two seasons, Prieskorn's production increased in 2022, recording fifteen receptions and four touchdowns through the first four games. Tight End
The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense (sports), offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. On the other hand, unlike offensive linemen, they are eligible receivers adept enough to warrant a defense's attention when running pass patterns. Because of the hybrid nature of the position, the tight end's role in any given offense depends on the tactical preferences and philosophy of the head coach as well as overall team dynamic. 2023 Ole Miss Rebels Football Team
The 2023 Ole Miss Rebels football team represented the University of Mississippi in the West Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC) during the 2023 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Rebels were led by Lane Kiffin in his fourth season as their head coach. The Ole Miss football team played their home games at Vaught–Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi. The 2021 Memphis Tigers football team represented the University of Memphis in the 2021 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Tigers played their home games at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium in Memphis, Tennessee, and competed in the American Athletic Conference. They were led by second-year head coach Ryan Silverfield. The Tigers finished the regular season with a 6–6 record and were due to face the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors in the Hawaii Bowl. However, due to a COVID-19 outbreak, season-ending injuries, and transfers, the Rainbow Warriors were forced to withdraw the day before the game, leaving the Tigers without a bowl game. The NCAA transfer portal is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) application, database, and compliance tool launched on October 15, 2018, to manage and facilitate the process for student athletes seeking to transfer between member institutions.
