Cacho Alalay
Cacho Alalay is a popular dice game from Latin America. It is similar to Yahtzee/Yatzy. The purpose of the game is to roll five dice and score points from their combinations. The dice are rolled from a leather cup. Many versions of cacho exist. The main difference between versions is allowing a third roll of the dice, and instead making the turned dice (see below) optional. This article describes the Bolivia, Bolivian "Cacho Alalay", which is the most common version played in tournaments organised in Cochabamba. History The game is based on Generala, which in turn comes from European Poker dice, dice poker, but it is not known exactly how Cacho Alalay appeared. One theory is that the Alalay version comes from Potosí in southern Bolivia, gained popularity in Cochabamba and from there spread to the rest of the country. Airam Guzmán Castillo (born 31 July 2002), commonly known as Cacho, is a Canario footballer who plays as a winger for CD Tenerife B. Club career Born in Santa Cruz de La Palma, La Palma, Canary Islands, Cacho was a CD Mensajero youth graduate. He made his first team debut on 23 September 2018, coming on as a second-half substitute in a 2–2 Tercera División away draw against Atlético Tacoronte. On 17 November 2018, Cacho moved to UD Las Palmas and returned to the youth setup. He returned to ''Mensa'' in the following year, and started to feature more regularly until renewing his contract with the club on 5 July 2021. On 20 July 2022, Cacho signed for CD Tenerife and was initially assigned to the reserves in Tercera Federación. Christian Eduardo Giménez (born 1 February 1981), also known by his nickname Chaco, is a former professional footballer, commentator, and manager. Born in Argentina, he represented the Mexico national team. Club career Argentina From a very early age, Giménez was playing football in a competitive environment.
