Cabot High School
Cabot High School (CHS) is a public high school located in Cabot, Arkansas. The school serves students in grades ten through twelve and is administered by Cabot Public Schools, which serves the city and most of northern Lonoke County. The district, and therefore the high school's boundary, includes the communities of Cabot, Austin, and Ward. Academics The assumed course of study for students follows the Smart Core curriculum developed by the Arkansas Department of Education. Students complete regular (core and career focus) courses and exams and may select Advanced Placement (AP) coursework and exams that provide an opportunity for college credit. Cabot High School has been designated as a School of Innovation by the Arkansas Department of Education. Miss USA
Miss USA is an American beauty pageant that has been held annually since 1952 to select the entrant from United States in the Miss Universe pageant. The Miss Universe Organization operated both pageants, as well as Miss Teen USA, until 2020. In 2020, the organization announced it was licensing operation of the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants to Crystle Stewart, who was the Miss USA winner in 2008. In October 2022, Stewart was suspended, and the rights to the pageants were returned to the Miss Universe Organization. The pageants are now operated by Laylah Rose. Terri Britt (born November 19, 1961) is an American former beauty pageant winner and author. Britt is a former news anchor for MovieTime, now E!, and was crowned Miss USA 1982. Early life Britt was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, on November 19, 1961. As a young woman, Britt was involved in the American Legion Auxiliary Girls State program. She was also vice-president of the Cabot High School class of 1980. Miss USA Britt won her first major pageant title, Miss Arkansas USA, in early 1982. Miss Arkansas USA, previously known as Miss Arkansas Universe, is the beauty pageant that selects the representative for the state of Arkansas in the Miss USA pageant, and the name of the title held by that winner.
