''Cables'' ( is a 1992 Israeli comedy / parody film directed by Tzvi Shissel, which is a chain of sketches that parody various foreign films and TV programs, interspersed with songs by Arik Einstein and others. The episodes star many famous Israeli actors. Tzvi Shissel
Tzvi Shissel (; 15 July 1946 – 28 July 2021) was an Israeli actor, film and television producer, screenwriter, and film director. After the discharge he started acting and later filmmaking. He was part of the comedy group ("Chicken coop group"), which, among others, included Uri Zohar and Arik Einstein. During 1980-1987 Shissel worked in the United States. He died at the Ichilov Hospital due to Multiple organ dysfunction syndrome, systemic collapse developed from food poisoning leaving behind his wife and two sons. Arik Einstein
Arieh Lieb "Arik" Einstein ( ; (3 January 1939 – 26 November 2013) was an Israeli singer, songwriter, actor, comedian and screenwriter. He was a pioneer of Israeli rock music and was named "the voice of Israel." Through both high public and critical acclaim, Einstein is regarded as one of the greatest, most popular, and most influential Israeli artists of all time. An illustrious musical career that spanned over 50 years saw Einstein recording over 500 songs and releasing, collaborating, and featuring in 34 albums, far more than any other Israeli musician. Shlomo "Moni" Moshonov (; born 18 August 1951) is an Israeli actor, comedian, and theater director. Early life Moshonov was born in Ramla, Israel, to a Bulgarian Jewish family that immigrated to Israel from Sofia, Bulgaria.
