The Cabinet of Bernardo Arévalo constitutes the fifty-second and current cabinet of Guatemala. It succeeds the Cabinet of Alejandro Giammattei, Giammattei cabinet. The Cabinet's creation was part of the Presidential transition of Bernardo Arévalo, transition of power following the 2023 Guatemalan general election, 2023 general election. In addition to the 14 Council of Ministers of Guatemala, Ministry offices, there are 15 Secretariats of the Presidency of Guatemala, Secretary-level officials. Bernardo Arévalo
César Bernardo Arévalo de León (; born 7 October 1958) is a Guatemalan diplomat, sociologist, writer, and politician serving as the 52nd and current president of Guatemala since 2024. A member and co-founder of the Movimiento Semilla, Semilla party, he previously served as a deputy in the Congress of the Republic of Guatemala, Congress of Guatemala from 2020 to 2024, as List of diplomatic missions of Guatemala, Ambassador to Spain from 1995 to 1996 and as Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Guatemala), Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1994 to 1995. Arévalo was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, during the exile of his father, former president Juan José Arévalo. He graduated from Hebrew University of Jerusalem with a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology.
