Together with manual inspection, it assists in uncovering illegitimate behavior such as spam. This protects the wiki from disruption by any particular group or individual. It can also show all edits from an IP including those by registered users. Purpose CheckUsers target abusive users, which are blocked or banned to protect the wiki from harm. Although they are held to a higher professional standard, CheckUsers do not have greater control of articles. As open proxies are blocked, this forces threat actors to resort to botnets. Edits attributed to an IP address are not fully anonymo ... It was originally released as part of the 4.2BSD Unix operating system in 1983. In the same year, it was one of several UNIX tools available for Charles River Data Systems' UNOS operating system under Bell Laboratories license. In the following years it was included in many Unix and Unix-like operating systems, including Solaris and Linux Linux ( ) is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an kernel (operating syst ... The ability of GPUs to rapidly perform vast numbers of calculations has led to their adoption in diverse fields including artificial intelligence (AI) where they excel at handling data-intensive and computationally demanding tasks. Other non-graphical uses include the training of neural networks and cryptocurrency mining. History 1970s Arcade system boards have used specialized graphics circuits since the 1970s.
