CS Sporting Roșiori
Clubul Sportiv Sporting Roșiori de Vede, commonly known as Sporting Roșiori de Vede or simply as Sporting Roșiori is a Romanian professional football club based in Roșiorii de Vede, Teleorman County, and is the unofficial successor of former team Rova Roșiori (dissolved in 2008). History County Leagues (2008–2014) In their first season they take a place in the Liga IV, 2008–09 Liga IV – Teleorman County from Real Beuca and finished on the third place. Next two years they finished fourth. In the 2012–13 Liga IV Teleorman, 2012–13 season finished first and win the county championship for the first time and qualified in the 2012–13 Liga IV, play-off promotion to Liga III where they failed to promote but they also win the Teleorman County Round of the Cupa României. Stadionul Municipal (Roșiorii De Vede)
Stadionul Municipal is a multi-purpose stadium in Roșiorii de Vede, Romania. It is currently used mostly for association football, football matches, is the home ground of CS Sporting Roșiori, Sporting Roșiori and has a capacity of 5,000 people (2,000 on seats). In the past, the stadium was the home ground of other local teams such as CFR Roșiori, Rova Roșiori or Juventus Roșiori. 2023–24 Liga III
The 2023–24 Liga III will be the 68th season of Liga III, the third tier of the Romanian football league system. The season will begin in August 2023 and is scheduled to end in June 2024. Team changes FC Brașov saga FC Brașov had comfortably avoided relegation from Liga II last season, while Progresul Spartac were relegated after losing their last chance, the play-off against Metaloglobus. However FC Brașov did not have their finances in order and the FRF had no choice but to relegate them. FC Brașov appealed the decision, including at the court in Lausanne, but ultimately lost. On 7 August 2023, FC Brașov was definitively relegated from Liga II by the Romanian Football Federation, with Progresul Spartac being readmitted to the Liga II. 2019–20 Liga III
The 2019–20 Liga III was the 64th season of Liga III, the third tier of the Romanian football league system. The season was initially scheduled to begin on 24 August 2019 and to end on 30 May 2020. The season was interrupted on 9 March 2020, after 16 rounds, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Romania, COVID-19 pandemic. After two months of inactivity, on 11 May 2020, the Romanian Football Federation announced that the season was discontinued and the best ranked teams from each series (after 16 rounds) were promoted to Liga II, only if the distance between the leader and the runner-up was bigger than 3 points. Otherwise promotion play-offs will be played between the best two teams of the series. No teams were relegated this season, apart from the clubs that were already dissolved or excluded (CSU Dunărea de Jos Galați, CSU Galați, ACS Tractorul Cetate, Tractorul Cetate and CS Național Sebiș, Național Sebiș).
