Clubul Sportiv Gloria Lunca-Teuz Cermei, commonly known as Gloria LT Cermei, Gloria Cermei or simply as Cermei, is a Romanian football club based in Cermei, Arad County. The club was established in 1980, under the name of ''AS Cermei'' and knew a recent progress in the Romanian football league system, especially after its promotion to Liga III in 2016. For almost its entire existence Gloria Cermei played only at county level Liga IV or Liga V, but was a constant presence at amateur level in the Arad County. Despite the fact that had not a long football tradition, comparative with other football clubs in the Arad County, Gloria Cermei had a growth from year to year, thus promoting to Liga III in 2016, where it remained for seasons in a row, becoming the most constant presence at this level for Arad County. Liga V is the fifth level of the Romanian football league system. Current format Liga V has 42 divisions. The divisions are regionalised and are organised by every county association. Each team plays in their own county. The county associations decide how many teams play in the league and how many matches each side plays. 2023–24 Liga III
The 2023–24 Liga III will be the 68th season of Liga III, the third tier of the Romanian football league system. The season will begin in August 2023 and is scheduled to end in June 2024. Team changes FC Brașov saga FC Brașov had comfortably avoided relegation from Liga II last season, while Progresul Spartac were relegated after losing their last chance, the play-off against Metaloglobus. 2019–20 Liga III
The 2019–20 Liga III was the 64th season of Liga III, the third tier of the Romanian football league system. The season was initially scheduled to begin on 24 August 2019 and to end on 30 May 2020. The season was interrupted on 9 March 2020, after 16 rounds, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Romania, COVID-19 pandemic. After two months of inactivity, on 11 May 2020, the Romanian Football Federation announced that the season was discontinued and the best ranked teams from each series (after 16 rounds) were promoted to Liga II, only if the distance between the leader and the runner-up was bigger than 3 points. Otherwise promotion play-offs will be played between the best two teams of the series.
