CS Chimia Brazi
Club Sportiv Chimia Brazi, commonly known as Chimia Brazi, was a Romanian football club based in Brazi, Prahova County. Established in 1968, the club was dissolved in the summer of 2012 after the merge with Prahova Tomșani to form Fortuna Brazi. Chimia played on two occasion in the Romanian Second Division and managed to reach the Round of 16 of Cupa României in the 1978–79 season, as well the Round of 32 in the 1982–83, 2009–10 and 2010–11 seasons. History The club was founded in 1968 as Chimia Brazi, being financially sustained by the Brazi oil refinery. Chimia managed, under the guidance of Gheorghe Pahonțu, to promoted in Prahova County Championship at the end of 1970–71 season winning the Ploiești Municipal Championship and the promotion play-off tournament. Cătălin Cursaru
Cătălin Marcel Cursaru (born 29 March 1978) is a retired Romanian footballer. Over the course of seven Liga I seasons, Cursaru amassed totals of 167 games and 51 goals. Club career Born in Ploieşti, Prahova, Cursaru came through the youth ranks of local Astra Ploieşti, going on to finish his sporting formation with the Divizia C team Chimia Brazi. After one season in Divizia C, he made his Divizia A debut in 2000–01, against Steaua on 7 August 2000 (scoring twice in the process). Ștefan Gabriel Preda (born 18 June 1970) is a former Romanian professional Association football, footballer who played as a Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper. Valentin Lazăr
Valentin Marius Lazăr (born 21 August 1989) is a Romanian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder and a football manager. Club career 2013-2014 season In the summer of 2013, Lazăr signed a contract for three years with FC Dinamo București. He made his debut on 19 July in a match against Poli Timișoara. He scored his first goal in a match against Chindia Târgoviște in the Romanian Cup and a second goal against FC Brașov. Liga I (; ''First League''), also spelled as Liga 1 and officially known as SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Romania and the highest level of the Romanian football league system. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation from and to Liga II. The teams play 30 matches each in the regular season, before entering the championship play-offs or the relegation play-outs according to their position in the regular table. 2010–11 Liga III
The 2010–11 Liga III season was the 55th season of the Liga III, the third tier of the Romanian football league system. The season started on August 27, 2010 and ended on June 3, 2011. The winners of each series promoted to the 2011–12 Liga II. The bottom three from each division relegated at the end of the season to the county football leagues (Liga IV).
