Chabab Riadhi Béni Thour (), known as CR Béni Thour or CRBT for short, is an Algerian football club based in Ouargla. The club was founded in 1990 and its colours are green and white. Their home stadium, the 13 February Stadium, has a capacity of 18,000 spectators. The club is currently playing in the Algerian Ligue 2. History In 2000, the club won the Algerian Cup by defeating WA Tlemcen 2–1 in the final. On 5 August 2020, CR Béni Thour were promoted to the Algerian Ligue 2. The Algerian Ligue 2, also called Ligue 2, formerly known as Ligue Professionnelle 2 and Championnat National 2, is the second highest division overall in the Algerian football league system. Ouargla (Berber: Wargrən, ) is the capital city of Ouargla Province in the Sahara Desert in southern Algeria. It has a flourishing petroleum industry and hosts one of Algeria's universities, the University of Ouargla. The Algerian Cup () also known the Republic Cup (), is a football competition in Algeria, pitting regional teams against each other. It was established in October 1962, three months after independence, and has been played yearly since then apart from 1990 and 1993. The most successful club in this competition are CR Belouizdad with nine trophies. The 2001 African Cup Winners' Cup was the twenty-seventh season of Africa's second oldest club football tournament organised by CAF. Ouargla Province
Ouargla or Warqla () is a province (''wilaya'') in eastern Algeria, with a population of 708 463 inhabitants in 2019. Its capital is Ouargla. Other localities include Hassi Ben Abdellah and Hassi Messaoud.
