''Croc: Legend of the Gobbos'' is a platform game developed by Argonaut Games and published by Fox Interactive. The game was an early example of a 3D platform game, being released in North America in September 1997 for the Sony PlayStation, and later on that year for the Sega Saturn and Microsoft Windows. Taking place in the fictional setting of the Gobbo Valley, ''Croc: Legend of the Gobbos'' follows a young crocodile named Croc, who sets out to rescue a group of furry creatures known as Gobbos from the evil magician Baron Dante. Crocs, Inc. (stylized in all lowercase) is an American footwear company based in Broomfield, Colorado, that manufactures and markets the Crocs brand of foam clogs. History Crocs was founded by Lyndon "Duke" Hanson, and George Boedecker Jr. to produce and distribute a foam clog, whose design they acquired from Foam Creations, Inc. of Quebec City. Crocodiles (family Crocodylidae) or true crocodiles are large semiaquatic reptiles that live throughout the tropics in Africa, Asia, the Americas and Australia. Commandant Royal Observer Corps
The Commandant of the Royal Observer Corps (CROC) was the Royal Air Force commander of the Royal Observer Corps. All the holders of the post were RAF officers in the rank of Air Commodore, initially retired reserve officers then Auxiliary officers and, since the end of World War II, serving officers. The ROC was a uniformed civilian branch initially under the control of the Air Defence of Great Britain organization, then Fighter Command and latterly Strike Command. The Royal Observer Corps existed from 1925 until it was stood down in 1995. Most of the commandants, with only three exceptions, were qualified RAF pilots, two being air navigators and the other a General Duties (Ground) Supply Branch officer. Christophe Réaux (born December 16, 1965, France) largely and mainly known by the pseudonym Croc, is a French games designer, specialized in role-playing games (RPG) although he also has designed at least both a board game (''L'Âge des dieux'', ''Age of Gods'') and a miniatures game (''Hell Dorado''). He is considered in his own country as a role-playing games pioneer and one of the most important designers in the ambit of such games. Killer Croc is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly as an adversary of the superhero Batman. The character belongs to the collective of adversaries that make up Batman's rogues gallery. Originally a sideshow wrestler, Waylon Jones suffers from a rare genetic condition giving him a crocodile-like appearance. The Cardiff Roller Collective (CRoC) are a roller sports league based in Cardiff, Wales. Founded in 2010, the league has three roller derby, one roller hockey team, and an artistic skating group. ''Croc'' was a French-language humour magazine published monthly in Montreal, Quebec, Canada from 1979 until 1995. Publication history ''Croc'' ("Fang" in French) was begun in October 1979 by Jacques Hurtubise, Hélène Fleury, and Roch Côté, with the help of an $80,000 grant from the ''ministère des Affaires culturelles du Québec'' ("Québec Ministry of Cultural Affairs"). It printed the work of many leading cartoonists of the era, many of whom were able to launch their careers through the magazine's help, including animator Claude Cloutier.
