CRG (kart Manufacturer)
CRG is a kart chassis manufacturer. Notable members include Alex Zanardi, Vitantonio Liuzzi, Lewis Hamilton, and Max Verstappen. CRG was founded by three Italian racers (Carlo Vanaria, Roberto Vanaria and Giancarlo Tinini), and was originally known as Kalì Kart. In the beginning, the company was viewed as unfavorable, with Zanardi being told by his original team, DAP (racing team), DAP, that if he didn't stop complaining they would "send him to Kalì". By the mid 1980s, Kalì had recovered from its inauspicious beginnings and was winning Karting World Championship, world championships with drivers including Mike Wilson (driver), Mike Wilson. Kalì changed its name to CRG in the 1986. They soon competed in more world championships with drivers including Danilo Rossi and Alessandro Manetti (racing driver), Alessandro Manetti. A go-kart, also written as go-cart (often referred to as simply a kart), is a type of small sports car, close wheeled car, open-wheel car or quadracycle. Go-karts come in all shapes and forms, from non-motorised models to high-performance Kart racing, racing karts. Lucas Luhr (born 22 July 1979) is a German racing driver. He is a staple of the American Le Mans Series during the 2000s and early 2010s, winning the GT class with Porsche in 2002, the LMP2 category in 2006, and taking the overall LMP1 championship as part of the Audi Sport North America works outfit in 2008. He also won the P1 title in 2012 and 2013, driving for Honda-fielding Muscle Milk Pickett Racing.
