CNN This Morning Weekend
''CNN This Morning Weekend'' is an American Breakfast television, morning show airing on weekends on CNN and CNN International from CNN's headquarters at Techwood Studios in Atlanta. The program originally launched on June 22, 2013, as ''New Day Weekend'', the weekend edition of CNN's then-new morning show ''New Day (TV program), New Day''. Following the launch in late 2022 of CNN This Morning (2022), ''CNN This Morning'' on weekdays, the show was rebranded as ''CNN This Morning Weekend'' but did not see a format change. After the weekday program's eventual cancellation, ''This Morning Weekend'' continued as before. Background ''New Day Weekend'' era ''New Day Weekend'' launched alongside its weekday morning counterpart in 2013. ''CNN Newsroom'' (also simply known as ''Newsroom'') is the branding used for blocks of rolling news programming carried by the American cable network CNN. The program debuted on September 4, 2006, consolidating most of CNN's existing rolling news blocks (including ''CNN Live Today'', ''Live From'', ''CNN Saturday'', ''CNN Saturday Night'', ''CNN Sunday'', and ''CNN Sunday Night'') under a single brand. In April 2023, CNN began to replace ''Newsroom'' on weekdays with '' CNN News Central'', with only its weekend editions remaining on the main channel. Christi Paul
Christi Paul is an American journalist and former weekday news anchor for HLN and weekend anchor for CNN's '' New Day''. Biography Paul was raised in a Christian family in Bellevue, Ohio. She graduated from the University of Toledo where she earned a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism. She first started in broadcast journalism in Clarksburg, West Virginia, working as a news anchor, editor, photographer, and reporter at WDTV. She then worked as a reporter and anchor in Boise, Idaho, and Phoenix. While at KTVB in Idaho, she was honored by the Idaho Press Club for her stories about Julianne Prudhomme, a four-year-old girl who underwent a five-organ transplant. Alisyn Lane Camerota (born June 21, 1966) is an American broadcast journalist and former political commentator for CNN. She was an anchor of CNN's morning show '' New Day'', co-host of the afternoon edition of ''CNN Newsroom, and'' host of '' CNN Tonight'' from 2022 to 2023. Prior to CNN, she was a presenter at Fox News. Camerota has covered stories nationally and internationally and has twice been nominated for an Emmy Award for news reporting. CNN Center
The Center, formerly and still commonly called the CNN Center, is the former international headquarters of U.S. cable network CNN in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. The main newsrooms and studios for several of CNN's news channels were located in the building. The facility's commercial office space was occupied by various units of the former Turner Broadcasting System, now part of Warner Bros. Discovery. The Center is located in downtown Atlanta adjacent to Centennial Olympic Park. In 2020, CNN announced that it would relocate its Atlanta operations back to the Turner Broadcasting Techwood campus in Midtown Atlanta.
