Carbon-neutral Fuel
Carbon-neutral fuel is fuel which produces no net-greenhouse gas emissions or carbon footprint. In practice, this usually means fuels that are made using Carbon dioxide, carbon dioxide (CO2) as a Raw material, feedstock. Proposed carbon-neutral fuels can broadly be grouped into synthetic fuels, which are made by chemically Hydrogenation, hydrogenating carbon dioxide, and biofuels, which are produced using natural CO2-consuming processes like photosynthesis. The carbon dioxide used to make synthetic fuels may be Direct air capture, directly captured from the air, recycled from flue-gas emissions from fossil-fuel combustion, power plant flue exhaust gas or derived from carbonic acid in seawater. Common examples of synthetic fuels include ammonia and methane, although more complex hydrocarbons such as gasoline and jet fuel have also been successfully synthesized artificially. In addition to being carbon neutral, such renewable fuels can alleviate the costs and dependency issues of imp ...

Belo Horizonte International Airport
Belo Horizonte/Confins–Tancredo Neves International Airport, formerly called Confins International Airport, is the primary international airport serving Belo Horizonte, located in the municipality of Confins, in the state of Minas Gerais. Since 2 September 1986, the airport is named after Tancredo de Almeida Neves (1910–1985), President-elect of Brazil. It is operated by BH Airport S.A. History The airport was built by Infraero and inaugurated in 1984. Its purpose was to lessen the congestion at Pampulha Airport, which at the time was operating at 120% of its capacity of 1.3 million passengers per year. It was expected that by 1990, passenger movement at Confins would be nearly 2 million passengers per year. However, it surpassed the 1 million passenger mark only 22 years later. Presently its maximum operational capacity is 22 million passengers per year. After its inauguration, just a small fraction of the capacity of Confins was used. This was partly due to its distan ...

Chomsky Normal Form
In formal language theory, a context-free grammar, ''G'', is said to be in Chomsky normal form (first described by Noam Chomsky) if all of its production rules are of the form: : ''A'' → ''BC'',   or : ''A'' → ''a'',   or : ''S'' → ε, where ''A'', ''B'', and ''C'' are nonterminal symbols, the letter ''a'' is a terminal symbol (a symbol that represents a constant value), ''S'' is the start symbol, and ε denotes the empty string. Also, neither ''B'' nor ''C'' may be the start symbol, and the third production rule can only appear if ε is in ''L''(''G''), the language produced by the context-free grammar ''G''. Every grammar in Chomsky normal form is context-free, and conversely, every context-free grammar can be transformed into an equivalent onethat is, one that produces the same language which is in Chomsky normal form and has a size no larger than the square of the original grammar's size. Converting a grammar to Chomsky normal form To convert a grammar ...

Configuration File
A configuration file, a.k.a. config file, is a computer file, file that stores computer data, data used to configure a software system such as an application software, application, a server (computing), server or an operating system. Some applications provide a tool to create, modify, and verify the syntax of their configuration files sometimes via graphical user interface (GUI). For context, system administrators may be expected to create and modify plain text, text config files via a text editor. For server processes and operating-system settings, there is often no standard tool, but operating systems may provide graphical interfaces such as YaST or debconf. Some computer programs only read their configuration files at Booting, startup. Others periodically check the configuration files for changes. Users can instruct some programs to re-read the configuration files and apply the changes to the current process, or indeed to read arbitrary files as a configuration file. There ar ...

Conjunctive Normal Form
In Boolean algebra, a formula is in conjunctive normal form (CNF) or clausal normal form if it is a conjunction of one or more clauses, where a clause is a disjunction of literals; otherwise put, it is a product of sums or an AND of ORs. In automated theorem proving, the notion "''clausal normal form''" is often used in a narrower sense, meaning a particular representation of a CNF formula as a set of sets of literals. Definition A logical formula is considered to be in CNF if it is a conjunction of one or more disjunctions of one or more literals. As in disjunctive normal form (DNF), the only propositional operators in CNF are or (\vee), and (\and), and not (\neg). The ''not'' operator can only be used as part of a literal, which means that it can only precede a propositional variable. The following is a context-free grammar for CNF: : ''CNF'' \, \to \, ''Disjunct'' \, \mid \, ''Disjunct'' \, \land \, ''CNF'' : ''Disjunct'' \, \to \, ''Literal'' \, \mid\, ''Literal'' ...

Constant Weight Without Fins
Constant weight without fins (CNF) is an AIDA International (International Association for Development of Apnea) freediving discipline in which the freediver descends and ascends by swimming without the use of Swimfin, fins or without pulling on the rope or changing his or her ballast; only a single hold of the rope to stop the descent and to start the ascent is allowed. Constant weight without fins is the depth discipline of freediving that is most challenging, because of the physical effort needed to swim without assistance. Challenges The main differences between free diving disciplines that involve diving to depth and those that occur at the surface are: the dive cannot be interrupted, there are periods where work is performed and the diver is impacted by direct Dysbarism#Effects of pressure on the body, effects of pressure. Current record holders * Women: Kateryna Sadurska (Ukraine) – 80 metres on October 7, 2024 * Men: Petar Klovar - 103 metres May 26, 2025 pending doping ...

Comité National Français
The French National Committee (, CNF) was the coordinating body created by General Charles de Gaulle which acted as the government in exile of Free France from 1941 to 1943. The committee was the successor of the smaller Empire Defense Council. It was Winston Churchill who suggested that de Gaulle create a committee, in order to lend an appearance of more constitutionally based and less dictatorial authority. According to historian , De Gaulle went on to accept his proposal, but took care to exclude all his adversaries within the Free France movement, such as Émile Muselier, André Labarthe and others, retaining only "yes men" in the group. The CNF was founded 24 September 1941 by an edict signed by General de Gaulle in London. The committee remained active until 3 June 1943, when it merged with the French Civil and Military High Command headed by Henri Giraud, becoming the new French Committee of National Liberation. Composition The French National Committee com ...
