Consumer News and Business Channel Indonesia (known as CNBC Indonesia and abbreviated as CNBC ID) is an Indonesian television network owned by Trans Media in collaboration with Comcast's NBCUniversal under CNBC license. Launched on 10 October 2018, the channel is the second business-oriented news channel in Indonesia after IDX Channel. Chairul Tanjung (born 18 June 1962) is an Indonesian businessman. He is the former Coordinating Minister for Economics in the Indonesian cabinet. He was appointed to this post by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on 19 May 2014 following the resignation of the previous Coordinating Minister for Economics, Hatta Rajasa, who resigned to take part in Indonesia's 2014 presidential election. Trans7 (pronounced ''Trans Tujuh'' in Indonesian, formerly known as TV7) is an Indonesian free-to-air television network owned by Trans Media, a part of Trans Corp, which in turn a subsidiary of CT Corp.
